The interactive device Urban Musical Game takes the form of a game. Equipped with motion sensors, the balls work like digital interfaces, controlling the parameters of a sound environment precomposed by Andrea Cera.
Users can then manipulate the ball, dribbling, juggling to control sounds and participate in the generation of music.
This device is made by IRCAM, the digital design agency and association NoDesign Phonotonic, taking advantage of the project results Interlude supported by the National Agency of Research.
A project of Musical Interactions Team at IRCAM real-time, and NoDesign Phonotonic. With the support of Region Ile de France and Cap Digital, part of Futur en Seine 2011, and CENTQUATRE.
